The CE-1 was designed by Pat Cascio, with input from custom knife makers Ray Ennis and Craig Sword. Cascio worked closely with the late Col. Rex Applegate for several years, and is a fan of the double-edge knife for serious close combat use. The CE-1 was designed to be a heavy-duty, double-edge fighting knife, designed for use by the soldier in the field, the undercover operative or the law enforcement officer who might need a last-ditch weapon. Cascio has more than 35-years experience in the martial arts and has taught knife usage to select students. He has a good feel for what works and what doesn't work in a fighting knife. Cascio turned to custom knife maker, Ray Ennis, for his input on the design. Ennis is known world-wide for making some of the toughest combat knifes around - at an affordable price. After a number of prototypes, the final version of the CE-1 was arrived at after getting some feedback from soldiers in the field. The CE-1 is a no-nonsense fighting knife, if you're looking for a fancy, highly-polished collector's piece - this isn't the knife for you!
The CE-1 and the CE-2 will be available in several blade lengths in the very near future. Also, the CE-2 will be available with or without handle scales for those who desire their knife in this configuration. A paracord wrapped model will also be available.
